Getting out of the city
I moved to Montreal with my family almost 10 years ago. We lived here 8 years without a car when the kids were small, using Communauto, Car2Go, bus and metro as well as our bikes and legs for walking.
We bought a car two years ago, mainly to get out of the city! With Communauto, we found it difficult to bring our bikes or skis for an entire family, let alone our dog. I still hardly ever drive, but for nature experiences, I use my car.
I have been cycling along the Petit Train du Nord bike path and been stuck in traffic coming back on the 15. It always make me wonder how life might look if it was still possible to take a train all the way up to Tremblant?
