Chinatown is my Village

My Grandfather and father were active in building Chinatown as a place of support and mutual protection against racism and exclusion of the day. There is a rich history of over one hundred years in Chinatown. Chinatown is integral to the social fabric of Quebec, part of Québécois history. We need to research and learn more about this history and culture.

I've come to Chinatown as a kid, going to the Chinese school, family associations, banquets and festivals. Chinatown has a village feeling for me. It is still my village.
